Kristi Brown, LCSW

How others view you is not important, it is how you view yourself that means EVERTHING!

I completed my undergraduate degree at Weber State University and earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada Reno.

I work with individuals to navigate relationship issues, anxiety, depression, physical and emotional traumas, eating disorders, and life changes. My internship experience was working with adolescents with a wide range of complex mental health challenges. I believe in working collectively to create safety, healing, and hope to create a life with purpose. My intention is to build a therapeutic environment using empathy and evidenced based practices that will empower and renew your sense of inner strength and resiliency. My purpose is to empower you to discover, heal, expand, and thrive. I absolutely love walking with my clients on their path to healing while they develop a sense of a greater and truer self. Using a strengths-based approach people can develop skills to enhance their personal lives and relationships. I am passionate about connecting the mind, body, and soul to allow for healing and growth on multiple levels. I am a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, for ending the stigmas associated with mental health, and substance use, and for increasing accessibility of mental health resources. I'm committed to providing encouraging, comprehensive, competent care. Wherever you are on the path in your therapy journey, I'm here to walk with you.
