Educational and Professional Background
I have been in the field of social work for over 15 years and have experience in community mental health and therapy. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boise State University and my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Weber State University.
I’ve been in recovery since 2008, and my own life experiences have shaped how I approach my work. I understand how tough life’s challenges can be and that makes it easier for me to connect with others on their journey.
I love working with adults, kids, teens, and families who are going through tough times. Some of the ways I help include using: • Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Motivational Interviewing (MI) • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) • Family Systems Therapy (FST) I believe in taking a trauma-informed, client-centered approach where everyone feels safe and heard.
My personal experience with medical challenges and recovery in my life has really helped me connect with people who are going through their own tough situations. I’d love to help you, and your family on your path toward healing and growth—together, we’ll figure it out.

About Me
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, or cooking up something new in the kitchen. Cooking is my way to unwind and have fun—it’s like therapy for me! I am a mom of five, and one of my kids has had a medically complex diagnosis for the last 10 years. That’s given me a lot of insight into the stress and challenges that come with navigating the medical system. I’m also a grandma to five wonderful grandkids, one of whom has an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD), and that has taught me how to support families who live life a little differently.
